Clay Class

Both my son 9 and daughter 7 had a wonderful time! My daughter said it was ‘the best time of her life”. Kids will definitely love to do another class again. Thank you!

Clay Play

Melissa is fantastic - with both kids and adults. The space was relaxing and Mel was always ready to support and guide, to develop one's confidence. A great space to get creative and catch up with friends!

Art art art!

My daughter was a bit hesitant about going but after the first session, Saturday has become her favourite day of the week. Melissa has created such an inviting, friendly class that Winter just loves. Only downside is now I have to go to bunnings and buy more art supplies! The chickens and rabbits are an added bonus...

Calming & Energising all at the same time

I did the adult pottery class with Mel and cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. The intimate and organic environment was the perfect space to let go and just create. Surrounded by soft lighting, gentle music, hanging plants, colour and art it was hard not to feel anything but inspired. I have done a pottery class before which was very clinical, technical with a spinning wheel. In comparison I much preferred this free creative space that allowed me to learn freely and at my own pace. There were no rules or boundaries and nothing you could do to mess it up which really allowed me to connect with this beautiful art and medium. I also loved just sitting among other creative women chatting, nibbling on snacks and enjoying the positive energy. Not sure if you can tell but I highly recommend. <3

Breathtaking

I had the best time here, the studio space is breathtaking. It felt like I was in a magical world and Mel is such a warm and wonderful teacher. I’ve already told all of my friends and I’m so excited to bring my kids here. I hope to be a returning customer for years to come.

Enchanting Art Classes!
Melissa has created the most nurturing and magical art classes in her studio space. High quality materials are used, and the art pieces produced are just amazing! My daughter cannot wait to go every week after school, it's made her really free and confident with her artwork. Highly recommend these classes for any child that just enjoys getting creative! SO MUCH FUN!

Magical! Creativity at its best.
My 14yo daughter already knew Melissa through tutoring, so when she head that Melissa was offering art classes she jumped at the chance to attend. She looks forward to the class as the highlight of her week and has already produced so many beautiful pieces. She describes the space Melissa has created as "magical" and loves the variety of the classes. Melissa has a wonderful ability to encourage and guide her young artists, allowing them enough autonomy to produce unique results. It's really the best value for money and so much more engaging than other art classes she's attended in the past. 10/10

Came to Mel's with my work friends. Had such a great time. Mel was really friendly and had great experience with clay making. She had heaps of advice to give and at the end of the day it was your choice where you wanted to take your piece. Would highly recommend. It was a great outing with friends and you get to take away your artwork as well!

Craft with Clay

I took my friend's kids to Mel's place earlier this month and they had a great time! They loved learning about how to work with clay and had lots of fun making their bowls. Sometimes they can be nervous/shy away from their mum, but Mel made them feel welcome and put them at ease. We're going back to pick up their bowls today and they're so excited!! Thanks Mel!

Inspiring space and fantastic programs

Mel has created a beautiful space to spark creativity in kids and makes them comfortable with getting messy and involved. She is a fantastic teacher and is able to develop confidence in the kids to try new things.

Simply the Best

After knowing of Mel in an educational setting. I was so excited to see that she is now offering these classes. My high expectations were completely fulfilled! Mel is warm, friendly and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Cannot recommend her or these classes highly enough.

I had so much fun playing with clay. I made a bowl and a plate that I use everyday now. I also did a mosaic class and made a cool plant pot. I highly recommend the classes! (Ellie 15)

Amazing!!

What an amazing experience we had with Melissa at Alphabet kids, she was so welcoming and friendly. I was unsure if my son (11y) would be into this but he had an absolute ball and has asked to go back again. I loved being able to create, it was really relaxing and Melissa was there to help guide us when we were unsure. Thank you so much, we will be back again!
